Louis King leaving to head up Youth Development at Eversley FC
The club is sad to announce that Louis King will be leaving Hartley Wintney FC at the end of the season to head up Youth Development at near neighbours Eversley FC.
"We are very sad to see Louis leave and wish him all the best," said club chairman Luke Mullen on hearing the news. "He has indeed been a good lad to have around."
Louis stepped in and took charge of the first team for the latter half of last season after Peter Gray stepped down. It was a tough ask but Louis took to the role with his usual determined enthusiasm.
With the arrival of Neville Roach and Michael Wallace, Louis took on a coaching role this season alongside Graham Smith in our new youth setup and soon became popular with the lads. Supremely capable of encouraging and motivating players, Louis will be a big loss to Hartley Wintney but I am sure everyone at the club wishes him well and thanks him for the passion he put into everything he did during his time with us.
