Youth Team trials reveal good depth of talent, says Nev Roach, as we welcome Paul Dale on board as Youth Team Head Coach.
Hartley Wintney Youth Team trials took place on Saturday morning (25th June) and Monday night with Graham Smith (Manager) and Paul Dale (Head Coach). Neville Roach, Hartley's First Team manager, was also involved on the Saturday morning and told the club website:
"Having Paul on board with us is a massive plus because of the great deal of experience he brings and his knowledge of the game. The youth team is in good hands and Graham and Paul will make a great team to help
push the youth forward as a whole."
Neville continued, "I was involved myself in the Saturday morning training, and Jamie Fewtrell (Reserve Team manager) was there on Monday night. I was very impressed with the quality they showed in the training game. I also went down to watch the youth team play last night against Mytchett FC and it was a really good start with some great talent on show, and Graham wasted no time in signing them up on the night.
"Overall I think the youth team is shaping up well and looking bright for the future."
